Pray for Howard Stern to Accept Jesus

Bill Keller wrote a devotional today that I recommend to
you for your consideration. It has food for thought. He
has given me permission to copy his e-mails, and I'm sure
he would be happy if
you would share this with people you
know as well.

Too often we tsk, tsk over people who promote sin and
leave it at that. Instead, we should pray for them to
find Jesus.

Today, Bill Keller takes a look at Howard Stern and how
we might help him follow the example of Saul of Tarsis
in becoming the Apostle Paul.

I would like personally thank Jesus for healing my ailing
right shoulder that has been very painful for 18 months.
I was scheduled to go the doctor on Monday, but on Sunday,
June 4, I listened to two healing services . . . and
during the prayer for healing in the second one my pain,
stiffness and loss of movement all disappeared.

Thank you, Jesus!

Since then, I had a dream in which I finally realized
how I had hurt my shoulder . . . so now I won't repeat
that mistake.

Thank you, Jesus!

Please read on.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY JUNE 15, 2006
( 1 John 4:17, Acts 9:29, Acts 19:8 )

The influence of Howard Stern. Stern, the self
proclaimed "king of all media," is a genius at using the
media to pollute our culture with his views on life and
God-hating form of "entertainment." The reality is,
Stern has found a HUGE audience of people who are looking
for "something" in life, living their lives void of God
and Biblical Truth, and have gravitated to a voice like
Stern's. Stern will be paid $500 million by Sirius Radio
to bring his program to that subscription radio service.
They are not paying him that kind of money because they
like his brand of humor or agree with his views on life,
they are paying him that kind of money because he is
bringing them an audience!!! Whether you like it or not,
Howard Stern has an influence on our culture and the lives
of millions of people!

I'm not here today to bash Howard Stern. Actually, I
pity the man. On a recent interview he stated he was in
therapy 4 days a week. His personal life is in shambles
and all of who he is, is tied up in his public persona.
Howard is betting all his chips on these few years of
life and is not only going to lose that eternal bet, but
is losing during this life as well. Having dealt for over
15 years with men like Stern, I will assure you that
privately he would trade in the homes, the money, the
fame, for just a few days of true peace and joy. Sadly,
he keeps looking for that peace and joy in the things of
this temporal world, when they only come from having a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pray for Howard. Jesus died for his sins just like He
died for your sins and mine. Without Christ, Howard will
spend eternity in hell, forever separated from God his
Creator. I am asking you today to please take a few
minutes and pray that Howard Stern will come to a place
in his life where he will acknowledge the Lord's love for
him, repent of his sins, and ask Jesus Christ into his
heart and life by faith. Paul got saved, why can't
Howard Stern?

Part of what drives me each day to do what God has called
me to do, is someone like Howard Stern. Stern has simply
tapped into the power of the media to espouse his sick
humor and views on life, and found an audience in those
who are living their lives void of God and any Biblical
Truth. His loyal following is made up of people who are
looking for "something" in their life. Well, we know the
"something" they are looking for isn't found in the sick
mind of Howard Stern but in the Truth of God's Word and
the love of Jesus Christ!

Listen to me carefully my friend. Stern is simply proof
of what I have been sharing with you for nearly 7 years
now. The masses are out there. Hurting. Looking for
answers. Looking for hope. We, those who know Christ
as our Savior have the answers they are looking for and
have the hope they desperately want. It is our job to
take those answers and that hope TO THE LOST AND HURTING
MASSES! Now more than ever this world needs the Truth
found in God's Word and the love of Christ. As those who
possess that Truth and love, it is our responsibility to
bring it to them!

If you had a bag of food and you saw someone who was
starving, what would you do? Of course, you would give
them some food! If you had a bottle of water and saw
someone who was dying of thirst, what would you do? Of
course, you would give them some water! A guy like Stern
who can generate the kind of following he does is living
proof that there are millions of people out there hurting,
looking for answers, and needing hope. We have what can
heal their hurts, answer their questions, and give them
hope for this life and for all eternity. It is up to us
to reach them!!!

Every day, literally 24/7/365, Liveprayer is reaching
these masses through the internet and on secular TV. I am
reaching every day the same people Howard Stern is! Every
day we see people turning from the lies of people like
Stern and this world and to the Truth of God. I don't
have the greedy secular media giants willing to partner
with me to take Christ to the masses like they will partner
with a guy like Stern to reach the masses with his garbage.
However, out of their greed they will let me use their
stations for a price. So instead of these media companies
paying me to reach people for Christ the way they pay
people like Stern to pollute the airwaves, I have to pay
them to use their stations to access the masses. But that
is OK because this way they can't dictate what I can and
can't say!

So for 40 months now on the Viacom owned UPN in Tampa,
for the last 12 months on ABC in Miami, Jacksonville, West
Palm Beach, the WB in Ft. Myers, PAX in Orlando, Liveprayer
has been seen "live" for an hour every Monday thru Friday.
We are currently reaching over 1/4 million people (90% of
whom don't go to church) each night with the Truth of God's
Word and the hope and love of Jesus Christ, seeing lives
transformed by the power of God, and having people make
the decision to turn from their sins and to Jesus! My
friend, the masses are out there, waiting for someone to
inspire and guide them. That someone can be Howard Stern
with his Godless views on life or it can be Bill Keller
with the hope of Jesus Christ!!!

I love you and care about you so much. Howard Stern is a
perfect example of someone who is using the secular media
to reach the masses each day with a message. Sadly,
Stern's message is one that is anti-God, anti-Bible, and
of false hope. Even sadder, people who are hurt, lost,
without hope, gravitate to a message like Stern's since
they live their lives void of God and Biblical Truth.
Most of them aren't evil people, they don't even hate God.
They are simply lost, don't know God, and are searching
for answers in life. Stern is just bold enough to tell
them he is their answer.

Why are men who live their lives in rebellion to God like
Stern so bold with a lie, when men who know Christ and
follow Him are so timid with the Truth? I refuse to sit
back and let Howard Stern or anyone like him broadcast
his filth and anti-God views on life without competition!
That is what drives me each day to get up, face all of the
obstacles I do, deal with the incredible pressures and
attacks that only God knows about, to bring His voice into
the marketplace and the lives of the lost and hurting
masses.

I pray today that more will rise up and refuse to sit
back and be silent while the Howard Sterns of the world
lead people into everlasting darkness. May you rise up
where God has placed you, in your neighborhood, on your
job, in your school, to share His Truth and hope with
those you meet along your journey. God has called us to
be His salt and light in this world. Don't just sit back
and silently let someone like Stern lie to people. Rise
up and be the salt and light God has called you to be.
You don't have to have a radio program, but can do it
right where you live your life each day to those God
allows to cross your path. THEY ARE NOT THERE BY ACCIDENT!

Please continue to pray for me and for Liveprayer. I am
only one man, but so was Paul. I refuse to lounge in the
comfort of my salvation while others are dying and going
to hell. Knowing I possess the words of life they so
desperately need and are looking for, FORCES me to action.
God has blessed Liveprayer over these nearly 7 years to
have a voice in the marketplace for Truth, and as each
day goes by, that voice becomes louder and more impossible
for the world to ignore. Two weeks from Monday it will be
bellowing Truth to millions more throughout this nation on
the "i" Network, formerly PAX TV. Thank you for helping
me stand next to someone like Howard Stern and expose the
false hope he peddles, while giving those same people he
reaches, the one and only Truth and hope there is....JESUS!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY JUNE 13, 2006
( 1 Chronicles 29:15, Job 7:6, Psalms 39:5, James 4:14 )

Don't miss the opportunity to make today SPECIAL! Here
is something for you to think about. I was born on
February 18, 1958. God has blessed me to have lived
17,647 days or 423,528 hours. When I look at those numbers
in black and white two things immediately come to mind.
First, where did all of those days and hours go. Second,
that is many days and many hours, yet they have gone by so
fast. Today, I want to challenge you to stop for a few
minutes in the midst of all that you are doing and reflect
back on your own life, and focus on today and making it
special!

We have many places in God's Word that reminds us how brief
this life is, how fragile it is, how quick it is over. I
like James's description of life best of all when he calls
it a "vapor." I remember growing up how I couldn't wait to
be 16 so I could drive, 18 so I could vote, than 21 so I
was an "adult." In those early years, it seemed to take
forever to get from one year to the next. Now it seems
like the years are zipping by just like in the old cartoons
when you would see the pages flying off of a calendar.

My goal today is to get you to stop long enough to not only
realize how brief this life is and how quickly it is over,
but that each day truly is a gift from God. As the Bible
teaches, tomorrow is promised to none of us, today is all
we are certain of so it only makes sense that we make each
day God blesses us with special. Do we do that? Sadly,
we don't. Rather than treating today like the special gift
from God that it is, most people will be simply trying to
"get through the day." It is almost like we treat the day
as a curse instead of a blessing.

Listen, I understand that you may be going through a
difficult time in your life. Life is full of trials and
tribulations. That is simply part of living in this sin-
filled and fallen world that we do. However, we can't let
the problems of life rob us of our peace and joy that the
Lord has promised to those who follow Him. The reality is,
we will always have problems each day. In this life
everyone faces financial challenges, health concerns,
relationship issues, work/career trials, the death of
those we love and care about, and our own bondages we fall
into. These are common problems everyone who lives has to
face. The key is to not let whatever problems you may be
experiencing in your life keep you from making today special.

I realize that every day can't be like Christmas morning.
I understand that some days it is a challenge just to get
from one hour to the next as you face the unexpected
challenges life throws at you. However, if you step back
and think, that is normal and how life is. If you get to
the place where you accept that there will always be
challenges, always be unexpected events happening that we
don't and can't plan for, always trials and tribulations
facing us in every day, then you won't allow the problems
of any given day overwhelm you to the point you wish the
day would simply be over. Don't forget, today is the ONLY
day you are certain of, tomorrow is NOT promised to any of
us.

The big question is HOW do we make each day special,
especially if we accept that each day will be filled with
many challenges. That my friend is why I harp constantly
on our daily walk with the Lord. That quiet, intimate
time with Jesus in prayer, in the Word, in just being
alone with Him in fellowship. I am shocked at how many
people who have given their lives to Christ by faith,
spend little to NO time with Him each day. They simply
live their life in the flesh each day and do virtually
nothing with their spiritual life. It is like walking to
work in the rain when you have a brand new Rolls Royce in
the garage sitting there to take you in grand style. So
much of the pain each day comes from our lack of time with
Jesus!

Listen to me. That daily time with the Lord won't make
the trials of life go away, but it will give you the
strength and ability to deal with whatever life throws
your way and still maintain the peace and joy Christ
promised you would have. It is how even in the face of
living with very little by this world's standards, you can
enjoy the ABUNDANCE of this life, since God's abundance is
not about what is in your bank account but what is in your
spiritual account!!! To have a personal relationship with
Jesus and not take advantage of that personal relationship
is simply foolish! It is the difference between making
today just another day and making today special!

I love you and care about you so much. I pray that you will
realize how critical and important it is to have and
maintain that intimate, daily time alone with Jesus each and
every day. It is the most important time of every day and
without it you are simply living each day and not fully
enjoying each day. Instead of looking forward to each day,
you dread each day. That is so sad since life is short
enough and will be over sooner than any of us think. This
is our one and only opportunity at this life and it is
simply foolish to squander it. Without that time each day
with the Lord, we miss out on making the day the special gift
from God that it is.

I will be praying for you and that God will really speak
to your heart about making today special. It hurts when
I think back on how many of those 17,647 days I squandered,
took for granted, and in many cases dreaded and wished they
were over. I failed to realize how special each day really
was. Only God knows how many days I have left in this
life, but I can assure you that I will work hard to make
every one I get special. Nothing is more important to me
each day than my time with Jesus in the Word, in prayer,
and in just "hanging out together." I know as long as I
have my time with the Lord each day, no matter what may
happen during that day, I will still know the peace, the
joy, and the abundance of the day and it will be SPECIAL!

Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

Avoid Demonic and Sinful Games and Addiction to Any Games

Bill Keller wrote a devotional today that I recommend to
you for your consideration. It has food for thought. He
has given me permission to copy his e-mails, and I'm sure
he would be happy if

know as well.

I used to find myself addicted to video and computer games.
Then I realized how much more productive I could be if I
spent my time on something of value others. I haven't
played a video or computer game since. I estimate that
this gives me an extra 1000 hours a year. What a great
thing it is to have that time for something useful!

I would like personally thank Jesus for healing my ailing
right shoulder that has been very painful for 18 months.
I was scheduled to go the doctor on Monday, but on Sunday,

*********************************************

DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY JUNE 11, 2006
(Philippians 4:7, Proverbs 4:23)

Can playing video and computer games be bad? The world
of video games has surely changed since the days of "Pong"
and "Pac Man." Those innocent games are long gone,
having been replaced by video and computer games that
promote and glorify every kind of evil, debauchery, and
sin the human mind could possibly dream up. While these
incredibly violent and often sexual "games" are primarily
marketed to young adults, even though many have "adult
only" warning labels, they are being played by children
as young as 10. A very popular genre of games are played
"real time" on the computer via high speed internet
connections with people all over the world. Most of these
video and computer games involve the player taking on a
role or character and the line between reality and fantasy
becomes blurred.

Over the 81+ months of Liveprayer, I have seen an alarming
increase in the number of prayer requests from people
regarding this issue. It is clearly a cultural problem
that has not received much attention, but I can tell you
from the real lives I deal with every single day, it is a
growing and increasing issue in many lives from young
children all the way to adults in their 40s and 50s. It
is still primarily a problem faced by men. However, 20
years ago pornography was largely a male problem and I can
assure you that today there are as many women in bondage
to pornography as men.

Now many people are probably wondering with all of the
problems in the world, all of the problems people face
each day, what the big deal about people playing video
and computer games is. The big deal breaks down in four
main areas.

First, it desensitizes people, especially children, to
violence and death.

Second, it blurs the line between reality and fantasy
and many people lose sight of how to live in the real
world.

Third, many of these games deal with demonic things like
witchcraft, sorcery, wizardry, and the occult. It opens
the door to satan in the lives of those who play these
games.

Lastly, these games can become addictive to the point
people stop going to work, stop taking care of their
families, literally become so consumed that nothing
else in their life matters.

One of the worst things about the latest generation of
these computer and video games is the incredible amount
of violence and death. Killing is the ultimate goal to
"win" many of these games. This is not healthy for a
mature adult let alone a teenager or child. It leads
people to not respect life and minimizes what a special
gift from God life is and how important each person is
who has been created in God's image. All of these games
require those who play them to either become a character,
or take on some role in playing the game. The incredible
technology of our day has made these games seem so
realistic, many people who play them often begin to lose
sight of what is reality and what is fantasy.

A real spiritual issue is the demonic presence in so many
of these video and computer games. They literally take
those who play them into the demonic world through the
character's involvement in things like magic, witchcraft,
and sorcery. Never underestimate for a moment the pure
and unadulterated evil of many of these games. The fact
is many people become addicted to these games and they
are no different than an alcoholic or a drug addict.
They share the same problems. They end up losing their
job. They quit being responsible for their families.
They become anti-social. There is a real and legitimate
bondage to these video and computer games like any other
bondage you can name.

The Holy Spirit has led me to bring out this issue today
because I know many who are reading these words are
battling with this in their life right now, or have a
family member or friend who is. Let me make this clear
to you. AN ADDICTION TO VIDEO AND COMPUTER GAMES IS JUST
AS REAL AS BEING ADDICTED TO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL AND EQUALLY
AS DESTRUCTIVE! Just like I warn you to stay away from
alcohol, to stay away from drugs, to stay away from
abusing food, to not gamble, today I am warning you to be
very careful when it comes to video and computer games.

Don't even play those games that are full of violence and
death. There is a great computer adage, "garbage in,
garbage out." There is nothing positive about watching
and participating in violence and death, even if it is a
game. You wouldn't eat garbage out of a dumpster, why
would you put garbage into your mind! Run from these
games that are clearly demonic and promote the things of
satan. Don't open your life and allow the enemy to have
access to your heart and mind, even through something
that may seem asinnocent and harmless as a video or
computer game. Parents, you need to be aware of the
games your child has access to!!!

I realize that there are some more wholesome games out
there. Like anything in life, we have to have balance and
keep our priorities in order. Just keep in mind that they
can be very addicting and to check yourself from time to
time that you are not spending too much of your time
playing these games or that it is affecting in any way
your real life. If you are neglecting your family
responsibilities, if it is keeping you from being with
other people, if it is getting to the point it is all you
think about, you need to step back and realize that you
could be getting addicted to these games. Just like you
can become addicted to something as necessary as food,
just like you can become addicted to something as
necessary as shopping, you can also become addicted to
something as seemingly harmless and innocent as a video
or computer game.

I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying
for you today. Praying for those reading this today who
are in bondage to video or computer games to open your
heart to the Lord and hear His voice speaking to you
today. He wants to set you free. I pray that you will
ask the Lord for the strength to find freedom from this
bondage, find people who love and care about you to stand
with you in prayer and hold you accountable, and that as
you walk in His strength each day, you will walk in His
victory over this bondage to video and computer games. I
will also be praying for those in your life who may be
addicted to these video and computer games. Praying that
they will come to a place of surrender and acknowledge
this problem in their life and allow the Lord to free
them from their bondage to these games.

You are not going to hell for playing a video or computer
game. But you need to be aware of the incredible damage
playing these games can possibly do to your life. We know
that satan's mission is to kill, steal, and destroy. He
will use all kinds of ways to do that, even using
something that seems as harmless as a video or computer
game. Guard your heart and mind at all times. While
satan's goal is to destroy your life anyway that he can,
God's desire is that you have life and have life more
abundantly!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
